Face Data Collection
We collect facial images and videos solely to facilitate patient treatment planning on behalf of healthcare providers (our “Clients”). We do not use facial data for marketing or any other purpose.

All collected facial data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS). We follow AWS’s Data Processing Addendum (DPA) and implement best practices for secure data storage and handling, including:
- Encryption in transit and at rest (using industry-standard encryption protocols)
- Access controls and monitoring to ensure that only authorized personnel can access the data
- Geographic region selection to comply with relevant data residency requirements
Data Retention
We retain face data for a maximum of 3 years, or until instructed otherwise by our Clients. After this period (or upon request), data is securely deleted in accordance with our internal policies and AWS’s secure deletion procedures.
Use and Sharing
Face data is used strictly for the purpose of providing related services to our Clients. We do not share your facial data with third parties, except:
- Secure cloud providers (i.e., AWS) to host and process the data, bound by stringent confidentiality obligations and data protection standards

Augmented Anatomy follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information..
